Ashley Dupre: Watch her Mysterious Performance!

Last week we provided a little bit of insight into Ashley Dupre's mysterious past and we've just found the video to accompany the groundbreaking story.

A few days ago, reports surfaced that Eliot Spitzer's call-girl made a brief appearance in a music video by rapper Mysterious. Well those reports were definitely true - and we have the video to prove it.

Eliot's superstar can be seen strutting her stuff in the music video for Mysterious' song Pop Off, which was exclusively unveiled by the New York Post.

Dupre, looking quite trashy, walked around in the video, gave a few glances at the camera and that's about it. While she seemed to be the star of the video, she didn't really seem like a video superstar, if you ask us.

Ashley is an aspiring R&B singer. After she was revealed as Eliot Spitzer's hooker she began uploading her songs onto Amie Street - a website designed for up and coming artists. Her two songs became extremely popular on the website and one of her songs was played by New York radio station Z100.

If her performance in this video is any indication, this girl is going nowhere fast.

Fairytale Of New York lyric banned

The mother of late singer Kirsty MacColl has branded Radio 1 "pathetic" for banning the word 'faggot' from her hit Fairytale Of New York.

MacColl's duet with Pogues star Shane MacGowan is heading up the charts again this Christmas.

MacColl's mother, Jean, told BBC Radio 5 Live Breakfast: "I think it's pathetic, I really do. It's absolute nonsense. Really, this is too ridiculous."

Mrs MacColl said the offending phrase was spoken by the character MacColl was playing in the song.

"Shane has written the most beautiful song and these characters live, they really live, and you have such sympathy for them.

Kirsty Maccoll
Presenter Nicky Campbell suggested the song lyrics might be unsuitable for children hearing it on the school run.

But Mrs MacColl said: "As a parent, whatever age your child is, you have to guide them. You would say, 'well, some people talk like this'. But they'll know that from TV."

Radio 1 has played the song uncensored for the past 20 years but a spokesman for the station explained: "We continually review the language used in music and the impact it will have on our audience. The judgment was made by our head of music, who felt the time was right."

Over on Radio 2, the song is still being played in its entirety.

Fairytale Of New York was first released in 1987 and reached number two in the charts.
